It might not come as a surprise but as I'm sure you know by now, that I love music and today I wanted to talk about my top 10 band discoveries of 2015.
Please note that these are not bands that started in 2015, these are the bands that I discovered last year and have been loving.
It was a tough decision as I discovered so many the past year but I managed to narrow it down to my top 10. So lets get into it....
10.) Myth City
How I discovered them?
I first discovered Myth City when they were announced to support Fearless Vampire Killers on their Unbreakable Hearts tour last May. I did my research and listened to a few of their songs on spotify. I was a bit on the fence about them until I saw them live for the first time and they blew me away.
I saw the band again in August when they were part of the line-up for Havoc festival which was created by FVK.
Songs you should check out...
Fracture
The Vendetta

9.) Set It Off
How I discovered them?
I discovered Set It Off when my friend lent me their Duality album early in 2015. I really enjoyed their album and was super excited to see them live when they got announced for Slam Dunk Festival 2015. They were the first band we saw that day and were amazing. They did a signing shortly after their set at the Kerrang Tent and I went to go meet them. They're a lovely bunch!

How I discovered them?
I had never heard of WATIC until Don Broco announced them as part of the line-up for the Kerrang Tour 2015 which was last February. I listened to them on Spotify and fell in love with their music. Their set on the Kerrang Tour was mind blowing. I hope the come back to the UK soon!
Songs you should check out...

The Best Thing (That Never Happened)
Long Live The Kids
Dreaming Out Loud
7.) Coasts
How I discovered them?
I've spoken about Coasts very recently on my blog as they supported Don Broco at Brixton Academy in early December. If you've read that post, you will know how much I love them.
I loved seeing Coasts live and I hope I'll see them again this 2016. They are very different to what I usually listen to but I think because its so different that's why I loved it. They had a great stage presence too which is something that really makes a band for me.
Songs you should check out...
Oceans
Modern Love
A Rush Of Blood
6.) Bury Tomorrow
How I discovered them?
I also discovered Bury Tomorrow from being announced as part of the line-up for Kerrang Tour 2015. Their set was awesome, they really know how to get a crowd going!
I admire this band a lot, for being musically talented but also for their morals. Danny is a strong supporter of free meet and greets along with his #fuckpaidmeetandgreets on Twitter. I am a strong supporter of this too. He made sure he and the other band members went out to meet those in the queue who wanted to and then after the set went out into the crowd to meet even more people. It's a shame more people aren't like Danny Winter-Bates! This band have the upmost respect from me!

How I discovered them?
If I'm honest I can't remember how I first discovered LTA. But I do remember listening to them a lot early in 2015. I was super excited to see them perform at Slam Dunk and their set definitely disappoint. I unfortunately missed their show at the Roundhouse in December so I hope I can see them again soon!

How I discovered them?
So this may or may not come as a surprise to you but Beartooth were also part of the line-up for Kerrang Tour 2015. I thank the Kerrang Tour a lot for allowing me to discover so many great bands this past year. I do love Beartooths music and they were great to see them live. I recently purchased their most recent album, Digusting, and its all I've been listening to!
Songs you should check out...
Beaten In Lips

3.) Neck Deep
How I discovered them?
Neck Deep are another band I discovered thanks to Slam Dunk festival. I had never heard any of their music before until that moment but the crowd had so much energy as the band did and it was great to see that. Gotta love an amazing stage presence. I saw them again at Reading festival in August, however we missed half the set due to arriving late. Although what I saw of the set was awesome! I brought their latest album, Life's Not Out To Get You, late November and its been another album I've been non stop listening to. I hope I can see them at one of their own shows in 2016!
Songs you should check out...
Gold Steps
A Part Of Me
Can't Kick Up The Roots
Lime St.
Citizens Of Earth
2.) Bring Me The Horizon
How I discovered them?
It was hard to miss out on this one, literally everyone is talking about BMTH. If you've never heard of them, where have you been?
I brought their album, Sempiternal, early in 2015 and I loved it! Then they began releasing new songs up until their latest album, That's The Spirit, was released. Its not often I find an album where I love every song, every track of That's The Spirit is pure gold! I can't stop listening to it, along with many others across the world. They really hit big time this year and they totally deserve it.
I'm excited to see what they announce tour wise, I'm yet to see them live. From what I've heard BMTH shows are incredible!

(lists every bmth ever made... I will try sum it up to my absolute favourites, or we may be here a while)

1.) Young Guns
How I discovered them?
Once again, I thank the Kerrang Tour for the brilliant discovery of Young Guns. Their set was truly incredible but sadly only 15 minutes long! I got to see a full set of theirs at Warped UK in October and it was the best performance out of all the bands I saw that day. I can't wait for them to announce more shows the London way this 2016! I got their most recent album Ones And Zeros shortly after it came out and omg, if you haven't listened to it, give it a listen ASAP, you won't regret it!
Sadly, my local HMV didn't have their other album, Bones, and I was sick of having to turn to spotify or youtube if I wanted to listen to it. On my trip to London recently, we popped into the HMV in Oxford Street and I was over the moon when I found it in there. I've listened to it twice already today! XD
Songs you should check out...
(Again I'll stick to my absolute favourites or I'll end up listing every YG song ever made xD)
Bones
Towers (On My Way)
