Warped UK, Alexandra Palace, 18/10/15

WOOOOO! Warped UK! I've been so pumped for this day ever since my lovely mother (thanks mum!) brought me a ticket back in June I think it was. The day had seemed so far away and now it was finally here!

Myself and my friends got the train to Finsbury Park and then changed and got the train to Alexandra Palace station. We then braved the hill and eventually got to the top. I've been to Ally Pally many times before so I already knew that the hills a killer, although I'm not too sure my friends were prepared for it.
When we all managed to catch our breath again we walked round to the Palm Court Entrance and began queuing.
Queuing wasn't to bad this time as the weather was nice and I was in good company. Damon Fizzy also ran past vlogging so I'm yet to see if I'm in his vlog or not. We also had a really lovely security guard, lets call her June. June was super lovely and told us the basic rules and layout of Ally Pally and she also told us where she would be located during the day (outside the ladies bathroom in the main hall) and if we needed help/were injured/in trouble to come and see her and she would help us. Gotta love June!
I also was really happy with the venue choice because Ally Pally is such a beautiful place. The interior has a sort of grand feeling to it and from the outside it has a beautiful view of London and you can even see the Shard.
It was nice to be back because last time I was at Ally Pally it was for a careers convention that I went to with school which wasn't the most enjoyable day but I could already feel it was gunna be an awesome day.
First up was the Attila signing. While we were queuing, The Word Alive were playing. I had never heard of them before but their set was really good.
These are my selfies I got from the Attila signings. They were super lovely but it was a shame I didn't have much of a conversation with them, The Word Alive were being far too loud to hear what anyone was saying. I am thankful for meeting them though.
I also got a signed picture of them for free which was really nice of them as some bands make you pay to meet them.
After meeting Attila we went to watch Ghost Town. I had heard of them but I didn't know any songs but my friends recommended I go watch them and they were really good.
After watching Ghost Town we went back to the Merch Market. I really liked this idea of having all the merch in one place and it was nice to see that room in a much appealing state compared to how it was last time as a business skill and portfolio building conference room when I went to the careers convention. Not so fun.
I brought some Young Guns and FVK merch and I really want to be able to use these in my next outfit posts as these are some really great pieces. Also big shoutout to Tilly for being the bestest friend ever. You know why! :D
Speaking of FVK that's were we headed next...
FVK's set was the one I was most looking forward to and I was really excited to hear 'Like Bruises' live for the first time. It was also awesome to see that quite a large crowd had gathered to see them and I know that would of meant a lot to them.

As always their set was fantastic and they did not disappoint. I loved how happy they all looked on stage and it was awesome to see them really enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, there was some technical difficulties but that didn't stop them and I'm proud of them for carrying on and not letting it spoil their performance.
After their set they met fans at the merch stand (as always) and everyone got pictures. I love the picture I got with them, silly pictures are my favourite and it makes me really happy looking at it. Kier went all out on the stupid face and what makes me laugh even more was that when Shane saw the picture he said it looked like Laurence was in goal. xD
I got to see Attila for the second time. I don't know why, but I bloody love Attila. I sometimes get asked 'Why is it you even like about Attila' or 'I'ts just screaming swear words, how could you enjoy that?'.
I don't even know how to answer it other than I just love Attila and that is it. Attila's set was bad-ass and has the biggest circle pit I had ever seen. The set was awesome and I can't wait for them to come back to the UK.
Next we went to see Frank Carter And The Rattlesnakes who were awesome. I had never heard them before but they were really heavy which I loved. If they are ever at a festival I'm at again, I would defiantly try to catch their set again.
I was so excited when Zoe London tweeted saying she was going to Warped. She is my favourite lifestyle blogger ever! I was really hoping I would meet her this time as I missed her at Reading and Slam Dunk this year as the venues were just too big. I was actually watching Frank Carter And The Rattlesnakes to begin with but I had lost half my friends so I texted them asking where they were and I got a reply saying 'COME TO FVK MERCH NOW' (hehe thank you Kaitlan) so I thought, oh FVK must be meeting people again or something. So I went to the FVK merch where I found my friends and also Zoe!
Zoe was so lovely and she's one of those people who you immediately get along with. We all chatted for ages and fangirled about Don Broco. My friends had asked her if she could write me a lil message type thing in case I didn't get there in time (which was so nice of them, thank you Phemie and Kaitlan!xxx) which Zoe gave to me when I got there, if your reading this Zoe, thank you so much! It was awesome to meet you!xxx
Young Guns were up next and I was ssooooooo excited to see them again! They played Kerrang Tour 2015 but were only on stage for 15 minutes and that was nowhere near enough time for such an awesome band.

They played songs off their new album 'Ones And Zeros' and it was so cool to here those live for the first time. Young Guns also are one of those bands who have an incredible stage presence as well as incredible music which definitely makes them one of my top bands ever. I really hope I will get the chance to see Young Guns again soon and if you have never heard of them, do yourself a massive favour and check them out and I promise you won't regret it!

Time for the last band of the day, Black Veil Brides. It was amazing to see them again after a year. Their set was fantastic but its just a shame I didn't enjoy myself as much as I could. My feet were killing me by that time and I wanted to sit down so badly but I powered through and enjoyed myself as much as I could do.
It's not like this put a downer on my day because it didn't. I was just already so happy with the day I'd had and I was so exhausted.
Although I was a little worried because of the heat coming off the pyros wasn't making me feel that great. There's always someone who passes out in a BVB crowd and I didn't want to be one of them.
By the encore, I could feel myself becoming a little more awake and was able to sing along to 'In The End' and catch as much confetti as I could (although I don't know where I put it xD).

After BVB's set my friends and I regrouped together again and reflected on how good the day had been whilst walking to the train station but we were all pretty much dead on the train back home.
You know its been a good day when that happens!

So my first ever Warped UK was definitely a day to remember in all good ways. I'm still feeling the buzz from it now writing this blog almost a week later.
Did any of you go to Warped UK? Let me know what you favourite part of the day was in the comments!

Fall Out Boy- Wembley SSE Arena, 11/10/15

So last weekend I went to see Fall Out Boy for the first time at Wembley SSE Arena in London on their 'American Beauty American Psycho Tour' and OMG they were awesome! :D

I went with my group of friends and we came down by train as always and tubed it to Wembley Park. It was a really nice weather for October actually.
This was my second time at Wembley Arena this year as I saw 5 Seconds Of Summer back in June and I was excited to be back as its a really lovely venue. Even if your right at the back of the venue, the views of the stage are still amazing and the staff are lovely too. We were immediately welcomed upon entry and we were kindly shown to our seats.

Charley Marley was first up and I was really surprised by his performance to be honest. Usually I would research support acts but I didn't this time and I wasn't expecting much but his set was spectacular!
Even though his music wasn't much to my preference I still really enjoyed his set and I wish it was longer as he was only on stage for 15 minutes. He had a really good stage presence and this is something I tend to bang on about a lot. It doesn't matter whether you like the music or not (however that's a bonus!) but if you got good stage presence then you got it in the bag. Charley Marley definitely had it in the bag! The crowd was jumping and atmosphere was so lively and everyone was loosing it.
I really see him going far with his music career and achieving great things, you got this Charley!

The second support act was Matt and Kim. I didn't get any photos of them. Their performance was odd as well as entertaining after proceeding to tell the whole of Wembley Arena they were 'partners in crime and partners in sex' and then Kim having a one way conversation with the crowd about her boobs... so yeaahhh that happened.
The final support act was Professor Green. Again I wasn't expecting much as he's not really my type of music but his set was also really enjoyable. My favourite being 'Read All About It' (partly because it was the only song I knew) but it was so lovely to sing along Emeli Sandes part with phone torches lighting up the entire arena.

Finally Fall Out Boy took the stage and started their set with a classic 'Sugar We're Going Down'. I loved the atmosphere of it as Wembley were screaming the words back at the band.
Their set had a perfect balance of old and new songs which I was glad about because I must admit, I am not a lover of the 'American Beauty American Psycho' album, which is odd considering the tour was called the 'American Beauty American Psycho Tour' but lets just ignore that. XD
I much prefer the 'Save Rock And Roll' album and 'Believers Never Die' greatest hits album and plenty of hits from those albums were played! Yay!
They also did a lil acoustic session about half way through were Patrick, Joe and Pete performed 'Immortals' and 'Young Volcanoes' acoustically on the sound bit in the middle of Wembley's crowd. I thought this was a really nice touch being able to hear them acoustic as well as electric in one night.
And of course Andy got to do an epic drum solo straight after.
I've seen many drum solo's in my life (my favourite being Cece's from Black Veil brides Black Mass Tour last October) and I'm always left thinking the same question.
Do drummers plan the whole drum solo thing or do they just make it up on the spot?
I guess I could tweet them and ask but I doubt I would get a reply though.
If you happen to know, leave me a comment down below.
I am a poet and I didn't even know it.
Cheese factor just increased 10 points.

Anyways back to the set, it was brilliant and I can now say I've seen Fall Out Boy live! yay!
Another thing I was super happy about, is you know how with a band you love, you will always have a favourite song but its one of the not so famous ones? Yes?! Well I do and for me 'Saturday' is my favourite Fall Out Boy song ever. Like its still known or it wouldn't be on the greatest hits album but its no where near as famous as 'Sugar We're Going Down' or 'Thnks Fr Th Mmries'. What I'm tryna say is that when you think Fall Out Boy, 'Saturday' isn't what immediately comes to mind.
'Saturday' just so happened to be the song they ended their set on and I was so friggin happy! After the show my friends were like 'Why did they end on Saturday, that was such an odd choice' then there was me who has stars in my eyes and was silencing anyone who objected to that choice.
It was almost as though they planned that last song just for me...............a girl can dream.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed my rather large waffle/fangirling about Fall Out Boy. I really love finding out about other peoples concert experiences so comment your favourite concert experience and why down below.
Warped UK is coming up this Sunday so stay tuned for a post about that next Tuesday. I gotta feeling that its gunna be a big'un. Until then.....

REVIEW: Garnier Fructis Strength & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner

Today I'm going to share a product I have discovered recently and that I absolutely love!
For years I have been using Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner but I was never really impressed with it. I used to wash my hair every other day with Herbal Essences but even after one day, my hair would be super greasy and look awful.
I didn't want to have to start washing my hair daily because its not that great for your hair, but having greasy hair made me quite self conscious.

Howeevvveerrrrrr..... my mum recently picked up this Garnier Fructis Strength and Shine shampoo and conditioner cheap from Home Bargains for when we went away to our friends house in Suffolk.
Unfortunately we couldn't go in the end so we just started using it when we ran out of the usual shampoo and conditioner.

I have been using this for about a week now and I love the effect its had on my hair. Even at the second day after washing my hair, it won't be greasy at all and my hair always feels super soft and shiny.
It smells great too!

Another advantage of this shampoo and conditioner is the bottles its in. When I used Herbal Essences I found the shampoo easy to squeeze out the bottle although the conditioner was an absolute nightmare! Even though the bottle still had half the product in, it was a nightmare trying to get the product out.
I ended up having to fold the bottle in half and squeeze it against my face to get the product into my hand.
But the Garnier shampoo and conditioner bottles are very easy to use no matter how much product is left in them.

Usually I would say I highly recommend this product, however I find this hard to do with hair products because everyones hair is different.
Some shampoos and conditioners work well for some but not for others.
So I would only recommend this to those with an oily type hair and skin like me. But if you would still like to try this product out even though you may have a different hair type, feel free to do so and let me know how you get on in the comments.

Out In The Garden

These are some photos I took the other day from when I was in my Dad's garden.
I was quite proud of these and I'm starting to get the hang of using my camera.
Here's what I got...

I feel like I am starting to get the hang of the whole nature photography style, however if you have any constructive criticism, please leave any tips below.
I hope one day to be able to get into gig photography. Gigs are something I am really passionate about and I would love to be good at it some day.

P.S. I'm aware the flower pictures aren't the brightest and I would like to brighten them but I'm not sure how to do this so if anybody can let me know how to do this (other than instagram filters) please let me know in the comments below).

Autumn Evenings

Now the seasons are changing, we are experiencing some beautiful evening skies in the UK. I've managed to capture a few pictures that I thought turned out pretty nice that I can share with you.
The sunset views in my village have been spectacular these few weeks and it looks just as if the horizon has been set on fire.

Unfortunately, I was too lazy to wake up to get a look of the Blood Moon last week but there have been some great full moon views from my bedroom window.
One of my favourite things is to see the full moon when the weather is slightly cloudy. I find it creates a real sort of spooky Scooby doo type look to it as the clouds pass in front of it.

A few months ago I watched a documentary on weird weather (I love geography documentaries :D) and I saw something featured known as an Iridescent cloud which is basically a rainbow in a cloud but without rain.
I had seen one once before but it was only a very small compared what I managed to capture above.
What causes these is when the sunlight diffracts off the water droplets in the atmosphere. This makes it sound so simple for something that looks so complicated.
It was a really beautiful thing to see, especially as they are quite rare.

I'm excited for the winter morning and hopefully I can get some good shots of the frost on the grass and especially frosted spiders webs.
