Cutesy Grunge London Outing

Hey everyone! Its been too long since I last did a fashion post!
As you will know from my previous post, I recently went down to London to look at the Christmas lights.
Since I received some great new pieces for Christmas, I really wanted to share this cute but grungy outfit I wore to London with you all.

I adore this outfit. Although my legs did get a lil chilly. My coat, jumper, bag and necklaces are all new additions to my wardrobe from Christmas and I love every single piece I got.
What I love most about the pug jumper, is that it reminds me of the pug T-shirt Fearless Vampire Killers have on their merch store. But just made a little more me with the use of sequins, beads and glitter. Who doesn't love a bit of that?!
The coat is one of my favourite new additions to my wardrobe. I looks feminine but with an edgy grunge look to it. I'm not a fan of your average girly clothing so this was perfect for me! Another thing I love about it is that it kept me warm and cosy while out and about in the cold London streets. I'm definitely going to be one of my staple pieces this January.

As for the necklaces, I was quite late to jump on my band waggon. When the tattoo style chokers first starting becoming popular again, I wasn't keen on them as they reminded me of the school discos we used to have in my lower school where they used to sell them and for some reason it was cool to wear them and suck it at the same time. So I guess I just associated it with spit and the sugariness of school discos. Not great...
I also hated how the girls at my school used to wear them with their school uniforms which just looked trashy.
But again, I was taught by Pinterest how pretty they could actually look and really edge up an outfit. Especially when paired with others.

Frilly socks have been huge this past year and its a trend I've been absolutely loving! For me, they are the perfect way to add cuteness to any outfit. They looked adorable paired with my docs creating a cute but grungy look which is what I love most about this outfit!
