Don Broco- o2 Academy Brixton, 13/12/15

Don Broco, o2 Academy Brixton.
The gig I've been waiting months for.
Finally came and now's in the past. I know I often say it was one of the best shows I've ever been to, but honestly... it was. And if you were there two, you'll definitely agree with me!

From the minute I entered that venue, you could just feel in the air, this show was gunna be something else.
The stage design was the best I'd ever seen. Nothing screams Broco more than palm trees.

Once everyone was in, the first support act was up.
Broco had some quality support acts on the road with them which consisted of Symmetry, Arcane Roots and Coasts.
First up, was Symmetry. I had already heard of these guys when they were "supposed" to support Room 94 back in March on their UK tour but they dropped out the London date and a few other to tour with McBusted.
I must admit, I was expecting much. I immediately judged them as your average wanna-be pop punk band. Now I would like to apologize to Symmetry for my complete inaccurate judgement.
Their set was just what the crowd needed to get everybody up and hyped and ready to party.
Next up was Arcane Roots. I had done my research and I particually liked "If Nothing Breaks, Nothing Moves" and I was excited to see this live.
Overall they had a really good set and its clear they are very talented musicians.
After Arcane Roots, it was time for the final support act. I will always be honest in this blog so by this time I was just liked "ugh, hurry up, I can't be arsed for one more support, I wanna see Broco" BUT AGAIN, my judgement was wrong and Coasts were my favourite support of the night.
They had so much energy and thinking back to their set now makes me really happy. They are seriously awesome. Check them out if you get the chance. They have some real great songs, my favourites being "Oceans" and "Modern Love" (which also happened to be all I was singing the next week after). I would love the chance to see Coasts again in 2016.
Once after all the supports were over, the whole crowd were excitedly buzzing for Broco to take the stage. I hate that anticipated wait when the song finishes and then everybody's like OMG hoping its about to start then another song starts. This happened so much that by the time came and the lights went down, I was not ready and was compressed against the barrier xD.
Broco's set was as usual incredible, you can always tell they are enjoying themselves and that's something I really love about this band. I know playing Brixton is a huge milestone for them and it has always been a dream of theirs. It was so special being there to see them achieve this.
Their set was perfect with the perfect mixture of old and new tunes, I will post the set list at the bottom in case your interested.

I thought it was worth including my famous picture of Tom mid fall on stage which is currently his profile picture on Instagram and Twitter. A proud moment for me! XD Although it was the smoothest recovery I have ever seen, backwards rolling off the box and sticking the landing. Sorry Tom, it was too funny not to mention.
Bobby pre-crowd surf.
During the encore, they even had fireworks which I had never seen at a Broco gig before. It was a nice detail to end the show as well as ending 2015 with their last show of the year.
And so, that was it! Last show of the year and Broco ended it perfectly! I've seen many bands this year but over this past year, I've learnt I will always feel at home at a Broco gig.
You could say I have a "Superlove" for Don Broco. (See what I did there xD) and its something I'm not ashamed to admit. I bloody love those guys. Talented as hell, as well as some of the friendliest and genuine people I've ever met. I can only thank Broco so much for 5 spectacular gigs across this year and putting up with my face in the crowd. I can't wait to see what they bring to the table in 2016.

I also wanna thank my 'Brohoes' as we like to call each other who have been with me at every gig. It wouldn't be as fun without you guys going crazy and loosing your shiz beside me!
I also want to mention all of you I've met at Broco gigs this year. It's been lovely to meet you all and I hope to see you at even more Broco gigs in 2016.
