30 Facts About Me!

Hello Everyone!

Today I am going to share with you 30 facts about me.
I love these types of posts and its great to get to know the person a little bit better!

1.) So let's start off with the basics…
My name is Alice and I am 18 and from Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom.

2.) My main blogging interests are Fashion, Music and Photography.

3.) My favourite style era is the 90's. I am obsessed with the 90's grunge style and am always trying to perfect space buns.

4.) I have a Chihuahua X Chinese Crested Pomeranian called Ralph who I love extremely. My family and I like to nickname him Woofie.

5.) My favourite fashion retailers are H&M and Boohoo.

6.) My all time favourite band is Don Broco who I have been a fan of since 2013. I remember my friend playing 'You Wanna Know' to me while we walked our dogs down an alley way in our village which is now known to us as Don Broco alley. I have seen them 6 times so far and have 3 more shows booked for August.

7.) I love meeting new people and making new friends. I was (and still can be sometimes) a very shy person and this caused me to not have many friends and a miserable school life while growing up so as I've grown older and more confident, I like to push myself and talk to more people instead of shying away.

8.) I am also a huge fan of FVK, Neck Deep, Young Guns, Lower Than Atlantis, Fall Out Boy, Pvris, Bring Me The Horizon, Beartooth, Bury Tomorrow, While She Sleeps and Room 94.

9.) I often don't leave the house unless I have winged eyeliner.

10.) I am a cheerleader and have been for about 7 years now. I first got into Cheerleading when I went along with my friend after school as I was going to hers after to get ready for a birthday party we had both been invited to and I have been a Cheerleader ever since. I have been in 3 teams in my Cheer lifetime. From the age of 11 to 13, I was in my middle school team Eagles. We often did displays and Best Competition which was held at my future upper school against other middle schools in the area. I always loved Best Competition and its an awesome atmosphere. I always make sure I go to watch Best Comp even though I am no longer competing in that team to support them although last year it was cancelled which I was super gutted about.
When I left middle school, I joined my upper school team Sabres. I went to my first big competition with this team and we traveled up to Nottingham to the Capital FM Arena for the ICC International cheer competition. Sadly, we lost although it was a great experience I will never forget, performing in front of a whole arena full of people.
We also competed at Crystal Palace which I believe we came second in?! Which was also great fun!
Last year, I joined my current team Falcons. At the moment, we are just a recreational team and have a display coming up but we hope to be able to be doing competitions by the December.

Phew… that was a hefty fact

11.) My birthday is the 11th February.

12.) I absolutely love festivals! Last year I went to my first festival which was Slam Dunk and I had the best day! I met so many awesome bands including Donny B (of course), set it off, Mike Duce from Lower Than Atlantis, Room 94 and so many more. We got to watch loads of bands and it really was a perfect day. I will be returning to Slam Dunk again this year which I am super excited about.

I am also doing a whole weekend of Reading Festival this year which I'm buzzing for.
I hope one day to be able to do a weekend at Download and 2000 Trees, the line-up this year is fab!

13.) I hate the number 13. For me, its very unlucky. I also believe Thursday the 12th is unlucky as one year I suffered from multiple injuries on one foot on one day so this day is now known as Unlucky Foot Day to my family and I. I know, we're crazy!

14.) I am obsessed with coconut scented products! I particually love the smell of Malibu's sun cream and Tresememe's Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner. This probably explains why Malibu is also my favourite alcoholic drink since its Coconut flavoured.
So yeah, If you ever loose me in Superdrug, you'll know where I'll be!

15.) My highest GCSE was in Psychology where I got an A. To this day I still don't know how I managed it.

16.) My lowest GCSE was in Drama which I actually failed on purpose because I hated it that much.

17.) My favourite Bloggers/Youtubers are Bubzbeauty, Zoe London, Amy Valentine, Leanne Woodfull, Kayla Hadlington, Helen Anderson, Vintageena, Sprinkle Of Glitter, Amazing Phil and Danisnotonfire.

18.) As a child, I was obsessed with 101 Dalmations so much that we have been through various copies of the video due to me watching them so much they broke.

19.) I'm in a music video! Being quite the big Broco fan I am, I am seen in the crowd many a time in Don Broco's live at Brixton video for Nerve. The video actually ends on my friends and I.

20.) Last year I shaved the side of my head hoping to look like Ellie Goulding. I loved it to begin with until my mum re-shaved the side but forgot to put the guard on and I was literally bald on that one side. It looked proper nasty and I wore a beanie to cover it even though it was the summer. I've been growing it out since late November.

21.) I have a terrible phobia of E.T. To this day I will still cry at the sight of him and it can be extremely embarrassing for me. Sometime I will be scrolling social media and he will appear causing me to drop my phone and avoid the app for the rest of the day. However my most embarrassing encounter was when I was working at HMV over christmas, a customer handed me a huge pile of DVD's which I was happily scanning through until I saw him…. not the best experience I'll admit. I had to get a colleague to take over while I tried to bring my breathing back to normal. Luckily, the customer was super understanding and revealed to me he had an extreme phobia of spiders.
I can get frustrated sometimes as I believe everything has a reason but I cannot find the reason for this phobia. I've even studied phobias in Psychology but I couldn't apply it to myself.
Although I do have some funny memories which go with this! One of my best friends actually has the same phobia and in Lower school, it was Golden Time (if you don't have this where you come from, the last hour of Lower school on a friday was known as Golden Time where you were free to play), we were both sat in the reading corner on our bean bags reading books and we decided to pick up the informative alien book (don't know why this was on a children's book shelf tbf) and whilst looking through this book, we found a whole 2 page spread dedicated to E.T. From here we both screamed and literally threw the book to the other side of the classroom and hysterically cried. Our teacher then picked us out a nice Unicorn book to read for us to calm down.
Thinking back on this now makes me laugh, but if I was to look at that book now, my reaction would most likely be the same.

22.) Lets keep the last 8 facts short and snappy since I appeared to of rambled so much already!
I have my ears pierced, just your basic lobe.

23.) My first ever concert was McFly. They played Birmingham but I can't remember what tour. I actually fell asleep in there, I was only young!

24.) I don't have any tonsils and they were taken out when I was 2.

25.) My favourite shoe brand is Dr.Martens.

26.) As I'm writing this, I have Save It For The Bedroom by You Me At Six stuck in my head.

27.) My favourite Holiday destination is Malta.

28.) I am 3/4 British and 1/4 Italian.

29.) My dream car is a Mini Cooper.

30.) I have 2 scars. One is a chicken pox scar under my left eyebrow and the other is on my right knee from where I fell of a zip wire as a child.
