Now the seasons are changing, we are experiencing some beautiful evening skies in the UK. I've managed to capture a few pictures that I thought turned out pretty nice that I can share with you.
The sunset views in my village have been spectacular these few weeks and it looks just as if the horizon has been set on fire.
Unfortunately, I was too lazy to wake up to get a look of the Blood Moon last week but there have been some great full moon views from my bedroom window.
One of my favourite things is to see the full moon when the weather is slightly cloudy. I find it creates a real sort of spooky Scooby doo type look to it as the clouds pass in front of it.
A few months ago I watched a documentary on weird weather (I love geography documentaries :D) and I saw something featured known as an Iridescent cloud which is basically a rainbow in a cloud but without rain.
I had seen one once before but it was only a very small compared what I managed to capture above.
What causes these is when the sunlight diffracts off the water droplets in the atmosphere. This makes it sound so simple for something that looks so complicated.
It was a really beautiful thing to see, especially as they are quite rare.
I'm excited for the winter morning and hopefully I can get some good shots of the frost on the grass and especially frosted spiders webs.
